City of Brighton
AV Contract
Scope of Work
For over four years, High Country Low Voltage (HCLV) has been the trusted Audio/Visual (AV) contractor for the City of Brighton, providing ongoing maintenance, installation, and design services for AV systems across various city facilities. HCLV’s partnership with the City of Brighton has been built on trust, excellence in service, and the consistent delivery of high-quality AV solutions.
City Hall AV Upgrades
HCLV’s work under this contract began with the renovation of the AV systems in the City Hall, one of the key buildings in the city’s infrastructure. Notable upgrades included the installation of a multi-camera system and enhanced audio capabilities in the first-floor Chambers room. These upgrades provided a modern, user-friendly experience for meetings and presentations, supporting both the City Council and various public-facing functions.
In addition, HCLV completed a full AV over IP upgrade on the 6th-floor study session, ensuring seamless communication and connectivity between multiple rooms and departments. These upgrades were essential in enhancing the workflow and efficiency of City Hall operations.
A major aspect of this project was the revamping of the city’s control systems, which were updated to a more consistent and intuitive User Control Interface (UCI). This new interface was widely accepted by city staff and stakeholders and offered a significant improvement over the previous, less user-friendly design.
Additional Citywide AV Projects
Beyond City Hall, HCLV expanded its work to other critical city facilities, including the Rec Center, Water Park, and Police Department Training Rooms. At the Rec Center, HCLV performed extensive upgrades to several areas, including the gymnasium, dance, yoga, and multipurpose rooms. These areas were outfitted with state-of-the-art speakers, amplifiers, audio DSP, and wireless microphone systems to enhance the audio-visual experience for visitors and staff. Additionally, HCLV implemented a full Public Address (PA) system upgrade, improving communication across the facility.
In the Water Park and Police Department Training Rooms, HCLV installed similar AV upgrades, ensuring high-quality audio and video systems were in place to support the needs of both recreational and law enforcement training. The continued collaboration with the City of Brighton has enabled HCLV to consistently meet the diverse AV requirements of each department.
Ongoing Support and Partnership
HCLV’s ongoing relationship with the City of Brighton has been marked by a strong partnership, with both parties benefiting from a seamless, efficient collaboration. The City IT department has been able to focus on its core responsibilities while relying on HCLV to manage and maintain the city’s AV needs. This collaborative environment has allowed the City of Brighton to improve its internal operations while providing top-notch services to its residents.
As a trusted partner, HCLV has demonstrated its ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the city, continually delivering high-quality AV systems and support. The trust and satisfaction that have been built over the years reflect HCLV’s commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term relationships.
